How it works

From the aid you have to the wall you see.

Four steps each week. The parish stays in charge of what goes on the wall.

Each week

  1. Bring the Mass in

Upload the weekly worship aid as a PDF, or write the Mass in the tool. Either way you get one list of cues.

  2. Check the cues

MassCast flags any cue it is unsure about. Your liturgy coordinator reviews the list. A low-confidence cue is marked for review. It is never dropped.

  3. Sign for the content

A named person at the parish states what the parish has the right to display. MassCast keeps that statement. Content without one does not go on the wall.

  4. Run the Mass

A volunteer opens the controller on a tablet or phone and taps to advance. Every board follows.

Roles

Who does what

Liturgy coordinator

Brings in the aid, checks the cues and builds the versions for each Mass.

Sunday volunteer

Opens the controller and presses one button for each cue. The screen is meant to be clear at a glance, for someone who helps twice a month.

The assembly

Sees the words on the wall and never has to think about the software.
