Built for Sunday
A blank screen is better than a wrong one.
A blank wall is a small problem. A wrong wall means a church reads the wrong words aloud. We built MassCast around that difference.
On the wall
What a board does and does not do
- A board starts blank and stays blank until it knows the current cue for certain.
- If the connection drops, the board holds its current cue for a short time. Then it goes blank.
- A board never shows an error, a spinner or a reconnect message. Problems show on the controller, not on the wall.
- A board can fall behind. It will not jump back or land on the wrong part of the Mass.
Your content
We show it. We do not supply it.
- MassCast ships no hymn, reading or text. Not even in the public domain.
- MassCast does not sell, broker or bundle licences, and it does not say it holds one.
- Each upload or written item carries a statement from a named person at your parish. The record cannot be changed afterward.
- Each parish is kept apart from every other parish. There is no shared library and no sharing of content between parishes.
- Software helps read the aid you upload. It does not write, reword or translate a prayer.
